Objectives
Himalayan Frontiers Foundation, A NGO, is initiating to work on various objectives, some of them are to be initiated at earliest stage are mentioned below:
1) Environment concern
Environment awareness campaign, educate to dispose of garbage, organising cleaning expeditionsin Himalaya and in rural villages, Environment awareness programs in school and in rural villages.
2) Tourism development:
Tourism development in rural area where local face more negative impact than positive. Aim behind is to provide the local economic benefit from tourism which is existing in their city/ villages by using their local product, help them to transform their spare room of houses to rent out to the tourist. When its question to save their culture heritage, Ngo will come forward with the help of local administration.
3) Animal protection:
Stray animal are roaming in the streets becoming incredible threat to animal itself and causing inconvenience to the locals even for that some local are responsible. An adequate action has to taken to the safeguard of these animals and guilty has to be morally awaken.
4) Plantation:
Himalayan environment is fragile, population has grown here, due to tourism traffic is increased, garbage dump create the mess, deforestation took place previously which cause the land slide. Hence responsible Plantation mission is required.
5) Women empowerment:
In each village there are women organisation (Mahila Mandal). Who plays major role in our society. We need to strengthen them by increasing their self-confidence for what they are contributing to the society, their importance and role in each and every social action.
6) Yoga meditation campaign:
In the modern world, it became the necessity of each and every human to take very good care of their physical and mental health, to balance the both Yoga and meditation is the worth practicing.
7) Rain Harvesting.
This is the necessity of each household to capture the water to use when water is lacking to full fill the daily need such as for washing the dishes, toilet and for kitchen garden. For farmers harvesting of water can avoid being dependent on occasional rain, when required he can irrigate his fields till certain limit and avoid the loss from the draught.
